Analysis and modeling of innovation networks and clusters policies is the web collection of research projects realized by teams coordinated by Margherita Russo, Federica Rossi and Annalisa Caloffi working since 2003 on regional innovation policy and local development (see publications).
With backgrounds in industrial economics, innovation theory and complex system analysis, the research teams work on the quantitative and qualitative analysis of innovation policy programmes, drawing policy recommendations to design more efficient policy measures.
Collaborations with international research teams on innovation and evaluation issues (EU projects FET-sponsored ISCOM-Innovation Society as a Complex System, Insite, MD-Emergence by Design) have supported the theroretical and methodological development of our approach.
Support from Tuscany Region, Italy [on the projects Prai-ITT, Prai-Vinci, ELT_reti, Poli.in] has allowed us to work on a rich empirical dataset to address some challenging questions.
Further developments of our analysis are developed with research collaborations in new related projects.
